This new ALEC project win, approved by Dubai Airports just last month, is an example of one of 100 small to medium sized construction projects planned for Dubai International that will be built on Aconex under the recently announced Dubai Airports/ Aconex enterprise agreement.
ALEC is also a very enthusiastic enterprise partner of Aconex, building all their new projects on Aconex.
This project is for a US$12 M modular data center (MDCC) "Designed by Huawei, the facility is set to become the world’s first Tier 3-certified MDCC." It is the first of two such facilities scheduled to be built at Dubai international.
Interestingly it brings together a team of long term Aconex customers and enterprise partners, Dubai Airports, ALEC & Arup, plus some new faces, like Huawei.
It's the network effect in action again. As CEO Leigh Jasper has said "Enterprise agreements are great for Aconex."
