After the panic, what does the dubai situation really mean for CVN?

Very little. No Debt, no need to borrow to fund expansion. These are crucial, as the effect of risk aversion and credit defaults will dry up funds available for business. Banks and insurers will be hurt. Who is exposed?

Miners with big debt facilities will probably face higher costs.

Short term, flight to safety - US$ up - good for cvn earns in US$, oil price will steady as the growth upswing has already left the station.
What will the US market do tonight? - probably shrug it all off, small bickkies and little effect for US economy.

By all means PANIC, I will pick up some of the dropped stock in the rush to exit doors.
