Apparently the sand in the middle east is not good for building. From memory, I think it contains sulphate.
Have a look at MSC Minerals Corporation.
They are in discussions with companies in UAE regarding green cement products.
MSC have debt/cash flow issues to resolve and have just announced a deal with a large USA cement company.
They are high risk and high reward.
