Because what partners won't want their name attached to a supplier embroiled in a "to be hitting the papers" significant financial mismanagement scandal, and one that has a financially uncertain future - as for customers, they will read the news and the news will hit in a big way. Doing a search on Google, there is absolutely nothing yet but it will come.
As for hearing constantly, "the tech works" - well, as I've said from day one, several years ago, call recording isn't rocket science. Dubber didn't invent it.
There's a plethora of 20+ year old providers that have been doing it much longer than them, they even do certain things better. Sure they are in with the telcos which is unique on that scale which can make activation via network interconnects faster, but the solution is the same. Cloud recording (in azure, aws is standard now and fast)
I can't see this ending well, but hey who knows, stranger things have happened.
