Or possibly trying to get a better return via some mezzanine or similar financing scheme, and maybe he was trying to be the hero rather than the villain? and maybe the bank involved by allowing transfer to take place? , so no one can say anything... but no staff seem to be leaving, the CR is going ahead ... who knows
