It is tough for all of us not knowing what would happen to our money, but there are a few posters here who contribute unfounded speculations or information that does not necessarily contribute to knowledge, and then somehow these imaginary thoughts dominate the discussion.
As of today: - We don't even know if Dubber would manage to raise any new money. - If Dubber was on the trajectory to become profitable. - If Dubber can currently win any new business which was forecasted in their growth plans. - If and how many existing customers and partners already made up their mind to move away from Dubber. - If Dubber will be able to deter any such customers from leaving and at what cost. - If the technology that Dubber has is still as valuable as it seemed years ago. - As an example for the above - with GenerativeAI anyone can create features like 'moments'. There are already many in the market. Microsoft, Google and the rest are working tirelessly with all the Tier 1 and Tier 2 telcos.
It could be (now allow me to speculate) that Dubber had no choice but taking AW's deal. AW might end up very shortly owning Dubber for the $1.5M that he just loaned them (not taking into account all the losses that he made so far).
