GPs are local area practitioners of medicine. Doctors undergo the most scrupulous education of any school in the university curriculum.

sure nobody is perfect, not even you, and some GPs, as in other professions, have their difficulties. after all its a very difficult job, extremely demanding of your time and the maintenance of your education.

Most professions seem to manage ok with a few seminars and a good conference each year. Doctors have a need to be constantly learning and ensuring they are up to date within the professional standards at least.

Are you up to their standard? I'm not.

sure you can question your GP with due scepticism and ask for second, third and fourth etc opinions, but medicine is a science, changed from the philosophic arts to being unrelated to philosophy in the last centuries.

but if you don't trust or believe the medical profession you can always self-diagnose with doctor google or see a chiropractor......
