In order for Zoono to sell into the EU, their products need to pass specific EU requirements. Zoono does not choose the lab nor the test samples or methodology. All of that is specified by the EU.

For efficacy against Wuhan virus, EU standards only require a test against vaccinia. Zoono passed this test.

Additional tests against a closely related surrogate betacoronavirus are usually also conducted although are not necessary. Some labs will use MHV, others will use FHV. The main point is that Zoono does not choose this - the lab does.
