Duck day in QLD

Power prices in QLD were negative between 7:30 AM and 3 PM- must have been sunny everywhere. Kidston power station was offline from 7:30 AM until 3 PM - presumably under orders from AEMO.

QLD market power price was below -$400 (yes that's a negative) between 10 AM and 1 PM, so Kidston Hydro could have been paid > $400 per MWh to pump water up the hill, then get paid another $100 per MWh to let it down again during the evening peak.

Interesting times.
