I have a friend who studies middle eastern history/politics and he told me that the true Palestinians were actually the Jewish people. He also said the people calling themselves "Palestinian" wondered into the area and settled.
Not sure when all this occured but it doesn't really matter. Agrgument like who got there first would probably see a never ending war in Europe but somehow they can refrain from blowing themselves up in shopping centres.
Anyhow, there will never be peace in the middle east... a pit because that's where all the holy land is. I'm sure the The Big Man Upstairs would not be happy with both sides killing each other.
