If you haven't listened to this 27 minute video then it may be worth you time
Some notes about the Bundarra Project area from the video between 11:00 to 16:00 minutes:
- Large database of data - historical and recent surveys
- Mt Flora prospect is their first project as they have the most information about it
- 104 targets in the area, 5 are Mt Flora lookalikes - they have similar amounts of information available.
- DEX has an experienced successful team that have worked together before
- Kenex engaged to assist with their geophysical / resource modelling. DEX senior staff have worked with Kenex geos before.
- Dr Gregor Partington is the Managing Director of Kenex. He is the Operations Manager at DEX.
- 1974 exploration Endeavour at Mt Flora - drilled a resource there. Underground workings but never developed.
- - "an area already known".
- Kenex developed 3D block resource model using the historical data and modern geophysical modelling tools & techniques - EM, 3D & 2DIP.
- DEX wanted to trial their theoretical3D resource model to see how accurate it is.
- DEX drill 3 diamond holes into this area to confirm the historical drill data and their block model.
- And said "THERE IS A MINE THERE" - from 3 diamond drill holes!!!! Confirmed their modelling approach.
- Not a large mine - strike length of about 400m.
- DEX then did geophysical surveys over the area to see how well this modelling worked.
- Survey results highlighted that the strike length went up 300%. From 440m to 1200m long. Still open N, S, E & W and at depth. (Monster!!!!)
- No land issues.
- "Potential for Bundarra to grow as a tenement area is HUGE".
- While drilling at Mt Flora, DEX is going to use their geophysical tools and technique over the other 5 Mt Flora lookalike (LAL) prospects.
- Once geophysical results are back, they will drill a few holes in each of the 5 LAL prospects.
- LAL drilling results will assist DEX in defining the scope of how big the Bundarra Project may be.
- "We believe it will be very BIG"
- "We will get their very quickly"
- "Most porphyry systems are deep and have to drill, this one is at surface"
- Mt Flora might not be their largest target
