When margin call recipients can no longer handle the pain, or prices take a turn for the better.
Had a half million dollar portfolio that never suffered a margin call. It's the size of the buffer that counts. It would seem that risk management, amidst perceived euphoric epochs such as we are witnessing today, is negligent at best, criminal at worst.
