Irrational fear, and many other factors in between. But I will say this: locking in dividends is a key component in riding out these difficult times, and dividend paying stocks with good yields will do better when things begin to normalize. Having that cash flow that allows you to purchase stocks cheaper is a huge advantage. Here's hoping we see one from GOR very soon.
