Isn't it ironical that the ETFS Physical Gold finished up 0.07%. Surely there is more certainty with producing gold mines that are making huge margins (GOR A$1,500 per oz). If the ETFS had gone down say 10% I would accept the reason as panic but the producing gold mines have been savaged and Gold is still at A$2,500 per ounce. The answer is MANIPULATION and the manipulators shares went down 3%.
