Pasqual, that's not what you said in your first post, where he bought in May and knocked it down late last year - but still, that's how he's learnt. And if he did knock it down after only four weeks - well, I agree, that's not smart!
Now, there are plenty of people out there who are dumb, according to you. Even dumb professionals who do this year in year out for a living. Any one can make a mistake, like the owners of our local mall, who ran out of money part way through a total renovation. It stayed in receivership for a couple of years, until the dumb bank agreed to fund the completion. However, even though banks and receivers do this sort of thing all the time, and wouldn't move an inch without consulting dumb professionals, they didn't get pre-leases in place either, so now, two months after completion, they have a one third empty shopping centre, and two existing tenants have left through lack of trade in the last six months too ....
