while a competitor could have made the basic carbon nanomaterial by burning naphthalene like Mo demonstrated years ago, I doubt very much that they can replicate what AXE is doing right now." According to this in announcement -

"This was achieved by making the qubit material using a different precursor and applying post-synthesis treatments."

AXE is now using some undisclosed method to make the qubit material, using proprietary qubit architecture to design on silicon, and now looking at "providing a solid foundation for executing more sophisticated quantum algorithms and achieving reliable quantum computations"

I think we can safely assume that this breakthrough in reliably maintaining superposition states for 230ns at normal temps has put AXE in its own play ground. We can also expect them to be very tight lipped about everything. The announcements, while quite impressive, are keeping a lot back as we see from every interview Mo does. Speaking about use cases is also vague, deliberately so in my opinion. Which does present a conundrum. How to interest potential investors while not divulging too much. So yes, FHC, you're right to think of the competition. Being publicly listed and wanting to make a commercial product is quite a challenge. Mo is banking on this being so revolutionary that everyone will want it at one particular point in time. It's then that I hope we sell the IP to the highest bidder.
