I cannot dispute your numbers on this one, but I would like to throw the following comment Copydog's way.....
It has been my experience that MM's reserve the right to adjust warrants in accordance with takeovers, right issues etc... as they see fit.....even if those warrants are currently held by traders/investors. They ARE ALLOWED TO CHANGE THE GOAL POSTS if something extraordinary happens such as the above occurs to the underlying parent stock.
This information comes from Ms. L from SG at one of her seminars. (she's also the author of a Wrightbook on warrants).
If this all carries through to Monday when AMP trades next, it would not surprise me if the MM decides to change the goal posts of your PUTS due to the extraordinary events that have taken place this week.
In other words, you may very well find yourself no better off at all!
As REM said, you will get ripped off! I would like to double and re-double that sentiment. For your sake, I hope I am wrong, but I fear, you might not like what you see on Monday.
