    rather amazing story hi guys.

firstly i don't know that much about (psr).

i thought i'd check a few things out re: its acquisition chorme project in s.africa.

i noted yesterday in a report that the mine was closed in 1996.

so i thought i'd send the managing director an e-mail asking why the mine was closed.

the first part of the e-mail is amazing ""The semi-official line we were given indirectly from Samancor""

the semi-offical line we were given...

hello guys, didn't you check this out thoroughly.

they get second hand information, and still going ahead with purchase..

see below e-mail, i'd be very very careful..

    Stephen,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

    Are you a Preston shareholder?

The semi-official line we were given indirectly from Samancor was that the mine closure occurred during a period of historically low chrome prices and Samancor rationalized their chrome operations at that time back to the 2 mines and 1 ferrochrome smelter in the Eastern Bushveld. They expanded the operations in subsequent years as evidenced by the recent asset sales to Kermas, but in other areas

I hope that answers your question.

Should you have any other questions please call me directly.

    Regards

    Brian Thomas
