Whoever was buying shares after the placement announcement today better have a longer term view in mind.
BUBS announced a placement at 45 cents a share - a 25% discount to the opening share price this morning.
In 10 days time, these shares will be released from escrow, meaning that whoever purchased them can basically sell on market at a profit anywhere between 45 cents and whatever the share price is at the time if it's above it.
If BUBS themselves issued a share placement at 45 cents, wouldn't that generally mean that they themselves value the business at or around 45 cents?
People paid 71.5 cents for this today. Hopefully they're not after a quick profit.
