I dont think the deals ultimately make a lot of difference now. The last deal at christmas was supposed to be biggest and best, along with extensions to other deals since then, yet the sp seems to be picking up pace in the downward direction. I think after the first two major deals maybe the market got wise to the fact that the deals are made to sound great but ultimately are barely worth enough to fund research unless a specific result is achieved. Obviously this hasnt happened yet. The super talking up job by management may well be holding this down now as everyone has been hearing the same potential massive payments for years now. The major advantage is simply number of irons in the fire, but they still need a hit into clinical trials before anyone significant cares imo.
