I think that there is capital risk all around in the short - medium term. If you want to protect your capital, put it in the bank for now and lose 3% p.a. due to inflation.
If you want to grow your capital long term and have a dividend yield that I believe will exceed bank interest (and inflation for that matter) - then invest in something like GPT - but it will roll and fluctuate in the current climate - as rationality is in short supply!
