A family member of mine did some private research of the Victorian sector and is convinced that the original business models for the retirement sector are broken . Planning and subdivision costs, taxes/duties, extended lifespan of residents, and lacklustre sales are making it very prohibitive . The proof will be in ongoing financial reports of course and for the sake of holders I do hope that it all works out positively .
