re: sons of gwalia shares slump ahead of profit re just looking at the sgw chart, it appears that this stock was trading near $10, half way through 1991. obvioulsy higher gold prices did not help this company. somebody mentioned the extent of the hedging as the cause - that must be the case

if the trend is your friend, then in this case, if you are a shareholder, take the "r" out of friend, and it becomes "fiend"
