The trading today showed the larger shareholders still have plenty of stock to unload.
These will be funds and corporate accounts that have accumulated big piles. This means CGF no longer meets their risk profile, however in some cases may also mean they expect a continued downtown or no decent recovery for the time being.
Smaller shareholders however obviously like the stock and are snapping up what they can afford.
The share price at close looked bad (a gap down 2c) with a seller putting in 200,000 at 2.07. When he later saw a buyer wanting 200,000 at 2.05 he quickly lowered to meet the buy. The fact was someone wanted a 200,000 parcel. That was a positive sign IMO - a sign that some decent support is coming into the stock. A lot is needed.
We will see tomorrow how it reacts to a very positive Wall street.
