Now we once knew a guy from Chicago who owned his own bank. Which washed Mafia money - so he said. A very interesting character. We made his aquaintance during our travels in Asia.
He wanted us to go manage the (big name) hotel he and the "boys" were looking to buy in the Asian region - but the sale never eventuated. It was an interesting proposition though.
Only in America could an individual own his own bank!
Wonder what he's doing today!
