my thoughts are(and i stress that they are only thoughts) that
either this is being done to
1. weed out the majority current shareholders/traders while insiders accumulate (unlikey, given the still massive selling (i suspect shorting))
2. or to drive the SP price down so as to actuate a massive dilutive capital injection at an absurd price.
3. or drive the company into admin (since it appears that it is up for sale, but not really), by announcing some super bad news, like class action of 2 billion, or something esle that is manufactured through creative accounting.

I think number 2 is the most likely. Then comes number 3 then number 1.
but since i really don't have any experience in such things, we will just have to wait and see.

Any other plausable scenarios?
