My wife and I went along to see it this morning. Masterful film-making by Nolan. Very "Hitchcock" in his ability to keep tension high with the hint of menace, rather than the graphics.
I give it 4.5 stars.
I would have given it 5 but for the fact that an evacuation of over 300,000 troops in the largest evacuation in history warranted more than what seemed like 100 extras, half a dozen planes and a handful of small boats. Spielberg had the right idea with Saving Private Ryan - technological wizardry and special effects.
