It's a good result fort Albo as there were a few things going against him. Firstly they are in Govt and swings away are common place. Secondly the previous candidate was extremely popular, and the new one unknown. Thirdly the Lib candidate was well known in local Govt. Fourthly the Libs would have been gifted the votes which would have normally gone to One Nation and the Palmer circus.
Considering the head winds they did very well. The brave potato head couldn't muster the courage to show up.....the Garma festival all over again....Cpt courageous is showing his colours once again.
