yowie i agree with some of your sentiment, however the africans are also not stupid.

The conventions will have a standard condition dealing with TO approval process for such a significant national interest asset. However it wont stipulate that only chinese companies need apply in the event of TO by another. Must remember also that we are talking about africa so the conventions are only as good as the biggest brown paper bag.

Need to also remember that hanlong may also want to on sell to a real player rather than be stuck with a 4.6 billion + capex.

I expect hanlong/china will move even before we get to know the precise details, (they of cousre will be fully aware of the details)
