Four Times Square may finally get its top of tower signs lit. Durst is completing negotiations with Totius, a signage intermediary that will install Australian-designed LumaSigns and then rent them to corporate users. The signs use fewer LEDs and trick the eye with moving images so that 90 percent electricity is used. Sources said Durst will get $1 million a sign. Totius will lease the northern facing sign first and has options on the other three.
