Visited one of the newly opened Dusk NZ stores over the weekend - first time in a Dusk store as an NZ-based shareholder so was interesting to reconcile all the presentations with reality!
Thought I'd provide an 'on the ground' update as some holders may not know that some NZ stores had officially opened. I was expecting some form of disclosure/news-flow from the company (not that it would be legally required), to announce their official entry into the NZ market.
Nonetheless, it was a positive shareholder experience. I was glad to see decent levels of foot traffic, an attractive product range + pricing incentives and friendly staff that understood the products and specials without being overly pushy.
Excited for the next trading update - very interested to see how the NZ financials shape up compared to the Australian stores.
