Unless it's the voice recorder with the crew recorded as saying something like this...

"Holy snapping duckshit, First Officer Osman, can see who fired it?"

"Yes, I definitely saw the words "A gift from the people of Ukraine" printed in Dayglo on the side of it, just before it slammed into the fuselage"
