Yes somebody should pay
Yes somebody should pay.
Sudan should pay for the help Australians provided to defeat the Mad Mahadi, as the British nick-named him.
The Boers should pay for the Australians who went over to South Africa to smack that flat-earther, Paul Kruger into line by a scorched-earth war, where thousands of women children and men were put into concentration camps to dies like flies. Almost s many black Africans (farm workers) died in concentration camps as did Boers, of whom about 28,000 died (according to http://www.sahistory.org.za/topic/w...tration-camps-during-anglo-boer-war-1900-1902 the tally was 4 177 women, 22 074 children under sixteen and 1 676 men). Black deaths in camps are officially calculated at a minimum of 14 154 (more than 1 in 10), though G. Benneyworth estimates it as at least 20 000, after examining actual graveyards. According to him incomplete and in many cases non-existent British records and the fact that many civilians died outside camps.
As for the Turks, they should definitely pay for the Australian help in destroying the Ottoman empire, and paving the way for chaos in the Middle East. I am sure a bit of research would justify payments from Koreans, Vietmanese, Iraquis, Afghans and Syrians.
