You have to admire the delusion of some of the posters here. Imagine just imagine the smile on their face up until about late Thursday night, perhaps even up until the final ballot count today, they got him, Mal was toast and one of their own was about to get the crown.....the problem was that somehow out of nowhere Mal finally found some semblance of political nous and his man won the ballot purely because Mal bought him an extra 24hrs. The 2 men that stuck by him, the 2 that carried his 2 signature policies got rewarded, how about that?!?
Sure Mal is gone, but at least he had the decency to give us a positive parting speech and he will do the right thing and leave Parliament.

Tony’s face was absolutely priceless, he brought Mal down but deep down it feels like a loss! He can spin this whichever way he wants but his face gave it away. When is he leaving politics? Every other deposed leader has!
Thanks to this bunch of mo¥ons we are guaranteed to get a Labor landslide. That’s all we got out of it. Unelectable for 2 elections cycles just because Mal wasn’t one of them, after all keeping 80,000 party members happy and 10 to 15% of the electorate is more important than doing the right thing by this country.
I live in the safest of safest Labor (commie) seat so had to contact the closest Lib MP, Zimmerman copped the brunt of my anger.

Who are these people going to blame now that Turnbull is gone?
