You clearly do not understand. The AKUS reactors do not require refuel during the boat design life, hence Dutton trying to tie AKUS safety to his civilian power plant fantasy when it suits his agenda is all over the shop. The same shop he’s all over with regarding SMR a few weeks back to full scale reactors this week. Private investment a few weeks ago to government owned this week….and it goes on.

The inherent safety of a submarine pressurised water reactor does not apply to a civilian power reactor. My time will be wasted explaining the very simple reason to you. They will however have in common the pressurised water design….assuming Dutton selects a PWR over a BWR.

Fission powerplants are engineering marvels however the time for Australia to adopt this technology was 50 years ago.

Dutton has dug himself a hole and he’s now busy swapping his shovel for a John Deere excavator borrowed from one of his country party sidekicks. The election result cannot arrive soon enough and will finally be rid of the LNP…… finished for all time. Australian society will finally be free of the rapacious grip of this bunch of zesty halfwits and their backers.
