I don't know where you live StR, but it must be fantasy land. I live in Cairns, At local supermarkets, clubs, pubs, parks, streets white anglos are a minority.
Aboriginals, Chinese, etc want the same as us. a job/purpose, a house, food education, health and a life.
The Garma crap is just that The people walking about in nice clean saffron and bright red garb and sashes are PAID Aboriginal Dance groups flown into Nhulunbuy airstrip. It's a great strip the "terminal" is in the shape of a light plane: Yes I have flown over it and landed there.
You stay at The Walkabout Tavern in Gove/Nhulunbuy The meals are great - expensive, of course. The big feature is the two bars One black, one white
The White one is called the Flinders tavern, can't remember the other.
