    teh key problem is to =reduce emissions as quickly as possible and not disrupt the planned closures of coal power plants.

    replacing coal isn't say using small units but this has to be completed along with storage. batteries are inadequate to the task so getting pumped hydro working has to be first priority, followed by AGL's planned hydro and then there needs to be more. to keep pumped hydro working we need more solar and wind.

    with that ongoing we should also get the real information about nuclear into the public, neither Lib nor Lab info is credible, and then hold a plebiscite to rescind the moratorium. then it can be left to the market to decide if nuclear is a commercially feasible business.

    yep let it all come down to the bottom line furps... if it can work they' can build it.
