    C2N it's still a reactor @Cowboyinvestor pumping out nuclear waste with a half life of thousands of years. You can't just bury it and not expect it to remain unexposed for that period of time let alone a handful of decades before someone will discover minerals there and want to relocate it or the next civilisation has no idea it's there. Nuclear is not an option. Australia is endowed with an abundance of renewable energy sources.
