I’m happy for the LNP to put forward Nuclear as an option as it a viable option if our country wants to attempt to hit a lower emissions target.
It certainly fits the criteria for reducing Co2 emissions with the upside of it being suited to provide baseload generation 24/7 and they certainly have lifespan longevity on their side (40-80 years).
Personally if I were given a chance to vote for or against the use of nuclear, I would vote No.
If we were only given a choice between nuclear and the current crop of renewable alternatives then I would vote yes to nuclear.

I would vote for any Party who would push for replacing our old coal plants with HELO’s.
It’s the cheapest and least environmentally (potentially) friendly option available with the technology of today.
