One of the reasons that contest has been so putrid in Australia for decades now is that one of our major players' ideas are straight out of the British Colonial Era:
. Resurrecting the 19th Century goldfields discrimination against Chinese immigrants.
. Severely damaging Australia's relationship with our major trading partner - provoking trade sanctions against Aussie exporters to China.
. Seeking to make Australia yet another totalitarian military regime - from appointing GGs to wasting unprecedented amounts of taxpayers' money on US WMDs.
. Defunding scientific research to prevent people being properly informed about the impacts of global warming.
. Fast tracking wealthy white South African farmers to Australia who are unhappy that apartheid has been terminated.
. Longing for and calling for an Old King Coal led future.
. Labelling anyone critical of Netanyahu's genocidal regime as 'anti-Semitic'.
. Etc. etc. etc.

Dutton's nuclear option is NOT a choice, it's a poison chalice!
