Dutton never called for the spill.  Don't  try to re write history. The dud had not self immolated by calling a spill we would know come May and like others I would have loved him to face the electorate.. 

He was advised by at least Bishop, not to have the spill.  But being the 'smartest' in the room he knew best.  No doubt he was more than a little stunned when 45 voted for someone other than him.

But as he's always shown, the dud has no political nous.

It sure is a laugh for me that you were told a year before he became PM that he would be a failure
