Yes Turnbull called the first spill after word got out Dutton was going to challenge, in hind sight we can say it was true that Dutton was going to challenge.

Turnbull won the leadership spill and that should have been the end of it, having a spill was politicaly damaging but had that been the end of it LNP could have recovered.

But no, Dutton in a show of how politically inept he is called for another spill. It was not Turnbull that called for the spill that eventually saw him removed, it was Dutton.

The ever so clever Dutton said he had the numbers but Dutton is not so cleaver and didn't have the numbers, so much for political judgement
