Politicians who want to be liked are a real problem, Turnbull is a typical example.  KRudd another.

Thinking people don't care whether politicians are likeable or not, they just want them to do the best they can at what we pay them for.  In the workplace the boss shouldn't care if he/she is liked or not they should just be about respecting their employees and getting the best out of them.
