I'll agree that Abbott was a lousy prime minister and I posted my concern about it even before he won the election against Rudd. He over promised and under delivered and outright lied about things after mercilessly hammering Gillard (rightly) over the same thing.
But I'm not wrong about Turnbull he sowed the seed of his own destruction when he did a Gillard job on Abbott. He was as dumb as she was thinking he could get away with his treachery.
And so it came to pass.
I also disagree with you about how effective Turnbull really was. Just remember that despite trying to blame this small group of hard right conservatives you keep referring to that in the end a majority of his colleagues voted to spill his leadership. If we half as great as you all keep saying he was why isn't he still PM? Why couldn't he command the confidence of a majority of his caucus?
He couldn't. He failed. He also passed the benchmark of bad polls he referred to when he moved against Abbott. Oops .....
Live by the sword die by the sword. You blokes always seem to make excuses or stories up to justify your man. Sorry it doesn't cut it with me.
You blokes can spin it any way you like that's how I see it.
Moon we can go round an round in circles but bottom line is that by removing Turnbull the Liberal party committed political suicide.
The was no good reason to do what they did and they can't justify it.
