Peter Dutton has tonight revealed his own legal advice confirming he is eligible to sit as a member of parliament.
The three-page document is signed by former Solicitor-General David Bennett AC QC, who also advised the Turnbull Government on the eligibility of several politicians embroiled in the section 44 scandal.
"Mr Bennett's unequivocal advice puts to rest the spurious & unsubstantiated allegations raised against by eligibility," Mr Dutton wrote on Twitter.
