I didn't always despise the Libs. I voted for Fraser and for Howard on 2 occasions each.
its their policies that I deplore.
but the advent of Abbott as PM - proven to be so despised that his own party room sacked him unceremoniously and dumped most of his legacy - caused me to recognise the Libs as going far further from Menzies values than is proper. the Liberal Party has been taken over by nutty conservatives (OBVIOUSLY) and this has compelled me to take a real stance against the Libs - not in favour of Labs, but against a failed party.
