Dutton's comparsion was a bit too nuanced for most but it fell flat for sure but Wong was the person who inflamed the issue by raising the possibliity that an Australian government may recognise a Palistinian state even when Hamas will not even consider it and they are the elected reps in Gaza.
Wong playing local politics with another countries problems is an extremely bad look internationally.
