Hi logco. I noticed that towards the end of the election campaign it was Simon Birmingham trying to save some furniture for the Coalition by coming across in a reasonable way.
If he was in the reps he could try to thwart Dutton from becoming Opposition Leader and start the badly needed repair process. Unfortunately not so.
I wonder how long Morrison will hang around? While he is still there it creates a weird situation. It's never ideal to have a former PM lurking in the background with a new Opposition Leader having to watch his back
