IMO Dutton needs to stay exactly where he is, it'll be a reminder of the folly their years in Government were, from the Abbott years of floundering to Turnbull's attempt to make the Liberal's functional, to Morrison no hands on the wheel until somebody's boot connected with his backside approach to Government. The Cross Bench can do the work of an Opposition in a far more diligent fashion provided they get the staffing they need. The Liberal's still have too many the Toxic members that shamelessy gave us the worst Federal Government in living memory, from giving $38 billion to companies that didn't need Jobkeeper to the horrific weaponising of wefare with Robodebt, the last incarnation of the 9 years of the Coalition in power under Morrison is something we need to not forget.
