we've seen worse that this lot Watso.
we've seen Whitlam's promise and his failure. Gorton's and McMahon's lack of any ideas but we didn't get to see much news on Whitlam before his victory; news was all about the govt mediocrity and failures to deliver (not to mention Mrs Mac's dress outrage. was she wearing knickers under that dress?)
Hawke too had a lot of controversy and Keating's language certainly made him a target for criticism.
Howard did some wonderful things and some appalling things. Rudd showed his true personality eventually and Gillard suffered terribly from Abbott's insane obsessive attacks and abuses of parliamentary privilege. but Abbott?... no pollie ever matched him for abuses and lies as well as total incompetence.... until Morrison.
really the parliament we have now is pretty reasonable in comparison with some previous moments in history.
